About Audioworks

Audioworks’ story began in the late ’80s, tucked away in our grandmother's garage. Known as the 'Radiowaves', we found joy in tweaking and improving the audio systems in our friends’ and family’s vehicles. Our passion led us to open two stores in Monroe, CT, in the mid-90s—a cellular phone store and a car audio store.

In 1996, we combined these ventures under one roof on North Main Street, Bridgeport, and thus, Audioworks was born. A decade later, we relocated to Milford and evolved into a full Sonos retail showroom, offering product demos for nearly everything Sonos has on offer.

For over two decades, we've built a solid reputation, thriving primarily on customer referrals. We offer in-home consultations and use our rich background in car, home, and pro audio to help customers make the best decisions. Join us at Audioworks—where our history meets your audio needs.
