Sal Grillo
Owner / Piano TeacherSal Grillo's musical journey began at the age of eight, and by 16, he was already sharing his passion through private lessons. He's performed with industry legends like Liberty DeVitto (drummer for Billy Joel), Joel Rosenblatt (drummer for Michel Camilo, Spyro Gyra, and Fred Vigdor (saxophone for Michael McDonald, Average White Band). In 1995, he toured Europe with trumpet legend Laco Deczi. Today, Sal continues to inspire as Sal Acoustic, performing throughout Connecticut.
Meg Hatrick
Piano TeacherMeg Hatrick's love for the piano started at just three years old in Japan. She's been part of Progressive Music since 1998 and has accompanied choirs and soloists since high school. Meg's strength lies in personalizing her teaching approach to each student, helping them maximize their strengths and conquer their weaknesses. Never a believer in the 'one size fits all' theory, Meg seeks to get the best from each student.
Julia Farrell
Piano TeacherJulia joined Progressive Music in 2004 and has been teaching since 2014. She's a proud member of the Class of 2020 from Fairfield University, with degrees in Music and Education. Julia's commitment to tailoring her teaching to the individual ensures that each student reaches their full potential.
